This is a small one woman run business and I value your privacy! This is a page to help understand what I do and do not do with your personal information.
Cookies
Cookies are text-based files that carry information about web pages and/or products that you view, how came to the site (from Google or social media), and if this is your first time visiting the site.
Google Analytics collects details from cookies that show me how many people are on my website at a time and their length of visit. This gives general information, like your time zone or country of origin. Google can't view any of the personal information about You or your computer from these cookies.
Newsletter
I use Klaviyo to manage my email newsletter. Users can sign up to be included on the newsletter on my homepage or opt-in to the newsletter when placing an order. I do not share or sell any emails or information with any other business or person.
You can unsubscribe from my email newsletters at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email that goes out. If you experience an issue with unsubscribing, please contact me.
Klaviyo does track some information from the newsletter like which links are clicked, or how many times an email is opened. This information is used to determine the success of my newsletter and is not shared publicly or with any other businesses.
Contact Form
If you use my contact form you have to provide your name, email address, and any query you have.
Any details you include in the contact form (name, email, etc) is only used to respond to your questions or concerns. This information is not saved and not used for any other purpose.
Placing an Order
You have to provide information when placing an order so I can successfully ship your order to you. This information is not used for any purpose other than fulfilling your order or contacting you about your order.
Information collected includes:
- Your Name
- Your mailing address
- Your email address
- Your payment information
My website/shop is hosted by Shopify, which is specifically designed for a secure online shopping experience. If you choose to pay with a credit card, Shopify has access to some of those details to process payments, but this information is encrypted and transmitted in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for the lock icon in the address bar of your browser.
USPS is the mail carrier I use to ship your orders. Your name and address is printed on the shipping label. USPS is given no other information about You.
Acceptance of Terms
By using the Kitty With A Cupcake website, you are hereby accepting the terms and conditions stipulated here within the Privacy Policy Agreement. If you are not in agreement with these terms and conditions, you should refrain from further use of the site.
I may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. Any changes made to this Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on this page.
